The Veterinary Hospital’s Mobile Veterinary Clinic is perfect for those pets who get nervous in the waiting room and for clients who prefer to access veterinary care a little closer to home.
‘Bessie’ was a Patient Transport Vehicle for the Red Cross in her previous life and has now been converted into a mobile Veterinary Consulting Room. We regularly bring her to locations outside of the city so you can take your pet to see the vet without having to visit the hospital.
Pop up Veterinary Clinics: for routine consultations or minor medical concerns, by appointment only:
Monday mornings at the Cherry Tree Garden Centre
A158 Sudbrooke Lincoln, LN2 2QU and
Monday afternoons at Dunston Village Hall,
Chapel Lane, Dunston, Lincoln, LN4 2ET
Home Visits:
We know that in some circumstances, veterinary care is best given at home. Members of the Veterinary Hospital team can come directly to you for routine appointments, vaccinations, medication reviews and check-ups. We also understand the importance of a home visit as part of your pet’s end-of-life care.
Please call to ask about our home visit availability in the coming few weeks.
If it becomes clear that your pet requires further investigations or inpatient treatment, we will recommend that they are taken directly to our main hospital in order to expedite their care. We are not able to transport patients in the mobile clinic. In an emergency, the best place for your pet is at our bricks-andmortar practice where there are more staff on hand and essential life-saving facilities available.
Prices
Our consultation fees and charges are the same whether you come to either of our bricks-and-mortar practices or visit us at our pop-up clinics.
If you would like us to come directly to your home, visit fees are £70-£100 depending on your distance from the practice, plus the usual cost of any consultations, medications and services you require whilst we are with you.
